Job Summary:

The Flooring Specialist will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring products, including hardwood, carpet, and resilient flooring. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Read blueprints and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Install carpeting, hardwood, and resilient flooring
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Conduct moisture and temperature tests prior to flooring installations
  • Prepare floors for installations
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in flooring installation
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
