About the Role:
The Shop Supervisor will play a key role in driving the success of our manufacturing team, leading and supervising the day-to-day activities of shop personnel to ensure that all company objectives are met in regards to safety, quality, productivity and cost. This position reports to the Focus Shop Manager. Shop personnel report directly to this position.

Responsibilities and Expectations:
• Develop and implement effective strategies to improve shop performance, increasing efficiency and productivity while reducing costs.
• Provide coaching and training to shop personnel, helping them to develop their skills and achieve their full potential.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and effective communication, building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement, implementing cost-saving initiatives and process improvements as necessary.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting diversity and respect for all employees.

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. business administration, engineering, operations management) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven track record of success in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
