Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Schedule Coordinator to join our Steelmaking Business Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment utilization and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment utilization and minimize downtime.
  • Develop and maintain detailed schedules for maintenance activities, including resource allocation and task prioritization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, operations, and planning, to ensure seamless execution of maintenance activities.
  • Monitor and report on schedule performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including equipment owners, maintenance teams, and operations personnel, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide support for shutdown planning and execution, including developing and maintaining detailed schedules and resource allocation plans.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance schedule planning and execution processes.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., business, engineering, operations management) preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a scheduling or coordination role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Project.
  • Experience with scheduling software and tools, such as Quintiq or SAP, preferred.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime required during peak periods. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with frequent interactions with stakeholders and team members.
