About the Position

RM of Ste. Anne is seeking a highly skilled Rural Development Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with clients to prepare contracts and project specifications.
  • Evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures to achieve organizational goals.
  • Plan and organize daily operations to meet the needs of the community.
  • Present and explain proposals to clients to secure funding and support.
  • Review project plans to approve or recommend design changes.
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Hire, train, direct, and motivate staff to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Oversee the analysis of data and information to inform decision-making.
  • Oversee the preparation of reports to stakeholders.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and services.
  • Project management to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as City/urban, community and regional planning, or Architecture and related services, other.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field, such as urban or regional planning.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze data and information and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload.
  • Physical ability to work in a variety of settings, including outdoors.
  • Ability to obtain a criminal record check.
