About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Heffermans Guest Home. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring their personal hygiene needs are met.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account residents' dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe living environment, including laundry, cleaning, and organization of residents' personal belongings.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing medication, and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Possess current certifications in CPR and First Aid.
