Job Title: Registered Practical Nurse

Verve Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team. As an RPN at Verve, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall well-being.

Accountability Objective:

As an RPN, you will be responsible for:

  • Assessing the needs of individual residents and developing personalized care plans
  • Providing direct resident care, including medication administration and treatments
  • Supervising and guiding care staff to ensure high-quality care
  • Participating in continuous quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care
Background/Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of grade 12 education and a recognized nursing license (RPN licensing) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
  • Certification in Emergency First Aid, CPR, and AED
  • Previous experience working as an RPN in a healthcare setting is an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives
