We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpentry Specialist to join our team at CK Progressive Developments. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in all aspects of carpentry and woodworking.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Implementation: Prepare layouts and designs for building projects, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Material Selection and Procurement: Source and procure high-quality materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and other materials as required.
- Construction and Installation: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to create custom woodwork and other carpentry features.
- Project Management: Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites, ensuring timely completion of projects and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Cost Estimation and Management: Estimate costs and materials required for projects, ensuring accurate budgeting and financial management.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential and commercial properties, including wooden structures and other buildings.
- Education and Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in carpentry and woodworking, with a strong educational background in a related field.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work overtime as required.
