About the Role

The Production Superintendent is a key member of the Lakeview Management Team, reporting directly to the Plant Manager. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient planning, organizing, and operation of the plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Shift Supervisors to ensure they are meeting all expectations in leading, documenting, reporting, and troubleshooting operational events.
  • Be accountable for achieving targets in quality, cost control, and employee engagement.
  • Demonstrate an uncompromising focus on safety standards.
  • Work closely with Woodlands and Maintenance teams to ensure safety, production, and overall plant safety.
Requirements
  • A strong commitment to safety, quality, lumber recovery, and production.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in various areas of lumber manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
  • Experience in employee relations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, rationalize solutions, and communicate plans.
  • Experience in building and developing a positive team environment.
