The Pipeline Supervisor, also known as a Technical Art Director (TAD), is a senior position within the Technical Art team at EA SPORTS. As a TAD, your mission is to oversee, define, design, and implement efficient, high-quality content production workflows, technologies, and visuals for our EA SPORTS FC Art team.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and define efficient content production workflows, technologies, and visuals for the EA SPORTS FC Art team.
- Assume ownership over technical issues and bring them to resolution, delegating tasks to senior, intermediate, and junior Technical Art staff as needed.
- Develop and implement techniques to meet quality targets within technical constraints.
- Collaborate with artists, engineers, and managers to ensure seamless communication and project success.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in technical art.
- At least 6+ years of experience in cinematic or games production, with a strong background in technical art.
- Experience leading teams of 5+ people and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient scripting/programming skills in Python and C#, with expertise in 2D and 3D art packages, including Maya.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and resolve technical challenges.
- A passion for games and a willingness to jump into new challenges.
