About the Role

Ontario Healthcare Center is seeking a skilled Vocational Nurse to join our nursing team. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with facility standards and directions from supervisors.
  • Ensure all nursing care is provided in a private and respectful manner.
  • Monitor residents' vital signs, dress wounds, and perform other essential nursing tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Document resident progress accurately and timely.
Requirements
  • Valid LVN license in good standing.
  • Valid CPR and BLS certification.
  • IV Certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 1 year of skilled nursing experience preferred but not required.
Working Conditions
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Interact with residents, family members, and other healthcare professionals.
  • May be required to work beyond scheduled hours or be called back during emergencies.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to move frequently throughout the day.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and may require assistance with heavier lifting.
