Agronomy Internship Opportunity

Location: Winnipeg, Eastern MB and Brandon, Western MB
Compensation: $22 - $30 / hour
BASF Canada Inc. is seeking a Technical Agronomy Intern to join our team in Winnipeg and Brandon, MB. As a Technical Agronomy Intern, you will play a key role in supporting our Agricultural Solutions division.
Key Responsibilities:- Organize and manage large-scale trials, including canola hybrids, seed treatment, fungicide, and herbicide trials with growers.
- Conduct evaluations throughout the season, including plant vigor, plant count measurement, and efficacy assessments.
- Participate in customer tours and presentations, and assist with the operation of ATV and pull behind sprayer.
- Responsible for transportation of equipment from site to site.
- Complete and present a Demand Creation/Research project to peers and senior leaders.
- Interact with growers and retail stakeholders.
- Current enrollment in an agriculture science or related degree program.
- Interest in agronomy.
- Strong communication skills and high level of enthusiasm.
- Commitment to learn and gain experience in agronomy.
- Mobility to travel within the assigned region and work independently.
- Valid drivers' license required.
- Experience with farm equipment and sprayers is an asset.
