Job Title: Automation Tester

We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester to join our team at Jatom Systems Inc.-CAN. As an Automation Tester, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for API testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop automated test scripts for API testing
  • Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify issues
  • Create and identify performance tests for API endpoints
  • Document test plans, test cases, and test results
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test automation
  • Participate in sprint planning and grooming
  • Work with controlled, dedicated automation test environments, including troubleshooting
  • Work with other members of the test team to participate in regression testing, prioritize areas for soak testing, and give feedback on feature testing shortfalls
  • Participate in feature development and planning meetings as a representative from the test team
  • Advocate for quality
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Typescript, C#, SQL, and NoSQL
  • Experience with test automation beyond record and playback
  • Proficiency in UI Design (web and WPF) and Test Complete or similar COTS automation tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Degree or Diploma in Computer Software, Software Development, or other relevant field or experience
