Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality clinical care to patients with a range of plastic surgery needs, including microsurgery and breast reconstruction.
  • Contribute to the academic and research activities of the Department of Surgery, including teaching and mentoring students, residents, and fellows.
  • Develop and implement research projects and programs in the area of plastic surgery, with a focus on microsurgery and breast reconstruction.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Eligibility for certification in Plastic Surgery by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
  • Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
  • Canadian Medical Protective Association membership in good standing.
  • Strong clinical and academic skills, with a focus on microsurgery and breast reconstruction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
