Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of Patient Care Coordinator in our Intensive Care Unit. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing clinical supervision, guidance, and support to nursing staff, as well as managing day-to-day operations and ensuring smooth patient flow.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement effective patient flow plans to optimize patient care and reduce wait times.
  2. Provide clinical supervision and guidance to nursing staff, including mentoring and coaching to ensure high-quality patient care.
  3. Collaborate with the clinical team to develop and implement evidence-based clinical practices and policies.
  4. Conduct regular quality improvement activities to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Three (3) years of recent related clinical experience in the designated clinical area, including one (1) year of supervisory experience.
  • Completion of post-graduate coursework and/or certification applicable to the designated clinical area.
