Child Care Program Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child Care Program Manager to join our team at Morinville Child Care. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our child care programs, ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our children.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
- Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care
- Lead activities that promote learning and development, such as storytelling, singing, and outings
- Order supplies and equipment, maintaining a safe and healthy environment
- Guide children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
- Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems, preparing reports for parents and guardians
- Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
- Supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and assistants
- Child development worker (ECE level 2) certification
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a child care setting
- Punctuality, team player, and values and ethics
