Child Care Program Manager

We are seeking a qualified Child Care Supervisor to join our team at Morinville Child Care. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our child care program, ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of children in our care.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
- Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers, providing guidance and support as needed
- Lead activities that promote learning and development, such as storytelling, singing, and outings
- Order supplies and equipment, maintaining a safe and healthy environment
- Guide children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
- Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems, preparing reports for parents or guardians
- Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
- Supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and assistants
- Child development worker (ECE level 2) certification
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a child care setting
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
