About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Barber to join our team at Sudbury Barber Studio. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and delivering high-quality haircuts and grooming services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on beauty care treatments and provide personalized recommendations
  • Analyze hair and scalp conditions to determine the best course of treatment
  • Book appointments and manage client schedules
  • Cut and trim hair according to client preferences and instructions
  • Provide custom hair and scalp treatments to enhance client appearance
  • Shampoo customers' hair and provide a relaxing experience
  • Shave and trim beards and mustaches to perfection
  • Supervise other hair stylists and staff members to ensure excellent service
  • Apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to colour, frost, or streak hair
  • Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair to create a unique look
  • Suggest hair styles compatible with client physical features and preferences
  • Perform receptionist duties and maintain a welcoming environment
  • Maintain and order supplies to ensure a well-stocked salon
Requirements
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
