About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter and Decorator to join our team at MAPLE RIDGE WOODCRAFT LTD. as a key member of our finishing department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in surfaces, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure a high-quality finish.
  • Paint and Material Application: Mix paint to the desired color and texture, and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, and plan and coordinate the work to ensure timely completion.
Specializations
  • Wood Finishing: Graining and staining of wood surfaces to achieve a high-quality finish.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure a flawless finish.
  • Hand-Eye Coordination: Demonstrate good hand-eye coordination to handle tools and materials safely and efficiently.
  • Color Perception: Possess the ability to distinguish between colors to ensure accurate color matching.

  • Weight Limit: Lift and handle materials weighing up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) with ease.
