About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Audio Artist to join our team at Electronic Arts. As an Audio Artist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality audio assets for our video games.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement audio systems for our games, ensuring a seamless and immersive experience for players.
- Collaborate with the development team to integrate audio assets into the game engine.
- Develop and maintain audio pipelines, workflows, and tools to optimize audio production and delivery.
- Work closely with the creative team to ensure audio assets align with the game's artistic vision.
- Troubleshoot and resolve audio-related issues, ensuring a high-quality final product.
- Manage and maintain audio assets, including editing, naming, and file organization.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in game audio or a related field.
- Proficiency in modern audio creation equipment, software, and recording techniques.
- Experience with visual programming languages for audio, such as Unreal Blueprints or Max/MSP.
- Knowledge of game development tools, including Perforce, Jira, and Devtrack.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Bonus Skills
- Experience working in surround sound or with SFX creation pipelines.
- Knowledge of relational databases, such as MS Access.
- Scripting or programming skills, such as Python or Batch scripts.
