Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computer Network Technician to join our team at NEXT GEN COM TECH INC. as a key member of our network operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software.
  • Provide problem-solving services to network users and perform routine network start-up and close-down procedures.
  • Implement network traffic and security monitoring software and optimize server performance.
  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
Work Environment

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer networking and a keen eye for detail. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in computer networking.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
  • English language proficiency.
