Inventory Control Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Supervisor to join our team at J B TRANSPORT. As an Inventory Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory management system, coordinating activities with other work units or departments, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient inventory management.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant metrics.
- Ensure the accurate and timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of inventory.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Organize and maintain inventory records, including tracking inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant data.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
- Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure efficient use of resources.
- College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in inventory management or a related field.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands to operate computer equipment and machinery.
- English is the primary language of communication.
- Permanent position.
- 40 hours per week.
