At Recruitment By Design, we are seeking a highly skilled Chief Communications Strategist to lead our external and internal communications efforts. This is a permanent, full-time position in our Toronto office, offering a competitive salary of $120,000 - $140,000 per annum, plus RRSP matching, parental leave top-up, competitive health and dental benefits, reimbursement of professional dues, and generous vacation allowance.

We are looking for an experienced professional who can develop and deliver our communications, content, and media strategy in alignment with our Strategic Plan. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to amplify our brand by shaping narratives that retain, grow, and acquire clients, talent, influencers, colleagues, and collaborators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and execute external communications, including social media, email marketing, and press releases.
  • Shape internal communications and employee experiences through engaging content and regular updates.
  • Establish meaningful metrics to track the effectiveness of our communications efforts.
  • Develop and produce written, audio, and video content that resonates with our audience.
  • Collaborate closely with other marketing and communications team members to deliver our external and internal communications and content efforts.

You will be responsible for building, leading, mentoring, and developing members of the communications team. You will also work closely with other leaders to deliver our communications and content efforts.

Requirements
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Marketing, or Journalism.
  • Proven experience in digital content marketing, SEO, performance metrics, and podcast and video content production.
  • Strong understanding of social media strategy and content creation and management.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
