About the Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as a full-time, 2-year limited term faculty member at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, specializing in Mental Health & Addictions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach graduate students in Mental Health & Addictions and other relevant courses
  • Mentor and advise graduate students
  • Develop and implement curriculum to reflect expertise in Mental Health & Addictions
  • Contribute to the School's Strategic Plan and Faculty of Health's goals
Requirements
  • Minimum of a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing
  • Master's degree in Nursing and/or another health discipline; PhD prepared an asset
  • 4-5 years' clinical and teaching experience in Mental Health & Addictions
  • Eligibility for registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing
