As part of the Ontario Transit Group (OTG), we are now mobilizing our design and construction crews, with major works underway.
The South Civil contract will strengthen Ontario's economy by supporting an estimated 1,500 jobs at the peak of construction.
Job DescriptionThe Mechanical Superintendent plays a critical role in ensuring the successful completion of tunnel projects with OTG.
They act as a vital link between the Plant Manager and the tunnel construction crew, overseeing daily operations and guaranteeing adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and implement mechanical equipment above and below ground.
- Organize plans and schedules of work.
- Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available for work completion.
- Provide instruction and enforce safety regulations.
- Inspect work undertaken to ensure it meets codes, regulations, and standards required.
