Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Sales Representative to join our team at the Ontario Teachers Insurance Plan. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying customer needs and developing strategies to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell insurance products by establishing relationships with customers, answering inquiries, and following up on leads.
  • Create a trusting environment that fosters new sales opportunities and retains existing business.
  • Participate in team efforts to improve business processes and contribute to overall business growth.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and minimize customer effort.
  • Process account changes, maintain customer documentation, and prepare correspondence.
  • Utilize resources to resolve complex insurance-related cases.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, quotes, and customer interactions.
  • Stay up-to-date on company underwriting guidelines and market trends.
Requirements
  • AMF license or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in personal lines, automobile, and property insurance.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Superior time management and organizational skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Ability to communicate in English and French.
