Job Summary:

As a Senior Director of Operations, you will be responsible for leading the vision and direction of the Division, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals and values. You will provide strategic leadership and direction to the management team, driving the development and execution of the annual business plan and divisional goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve divisional goals and objectives.
  • Lead and manage a team of senior managers, providing guidance and direction to ensure effective program delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address business and organizational issues, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Provide technical expertise and functional leadership to Vice Presidents and Directors on matters related to professional areas of expertise.
  • Participate in the review and planning of Board-wide initiatives, strategies, and programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with external contractors, business partners, and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate university degree and significant experience in developing and delivering programs.
  • 10+ years of progressively more responsible leadership and management positions in a large complex organization dealing with insurance and/or disability management and/or public sector management and services.
