Job Title: Facilities Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Operations Manager to join our team at Scandinavian Building Services Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer contracts for the provision of supplies and services, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs, ensuring the highest level of safety and efficiency.
  • Direct the maintenance and repair of an establishment's machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Hire and oversee the training and supervision of staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Plan and manage the facility's operations budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and optimal return on investment.
  • Plan, organize, and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security, and snow removal, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for employees and visitors.
  • Resolve product and service-related problems, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and optimal use of resources.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
