We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Operations Manager to join our team at Scandinavian Building Services Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Contract Administration: Administer contracts for the provision of supplies and services to ensure compliance and optimal performance.
- Scheduling and Procedures: Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs to ensure the integrity of our facilities.
- Maintenance and Repair: Direct the maintenance and repair of our facilities' machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Staff Management: Hire and oversee the training and supervision of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Operations Budgeting: Plan and manage the facility's operations budget to ensure efficient use of resources and optimal performance.
- Administrative Services: Plan, organize, and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security, and snow removal to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Problem Resolution: Resolve product and service-related problems in a timely and effective manner to minimize disruptions to our operations.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that necessary supplies and materials are available when needed.
- Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
- Work Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Security and Safety: Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, organized, reliable, team player, accurate, dependable, flexible, and punctual.
