Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and caring individual to join our team as a babysitter at LAURIE LANOUE. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch childcare services to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for children.
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, maintaining a positive and respectful relationship.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Prepare infants and children for rest periods, establishing a soothing and calming atmosphere.
  • Supervise and care for children, engaging in activities that promote their cognitive, social, and emotional development.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in childcare or a related field.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a physically demanding environment.
  • Fluency in English or French, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and children.
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a non-smoking, scent-free environment, with a focus on providing exceptional childcare services to our clients.
