AllStream Janitorial Services Inc. seeks a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train is a must.
  • Work Setting: Our Light Duty Cleaner will work in a cleaning service company environment, ensuring a clean and safe space for all.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
    • Dust furniture and fixtures to prevent dust buildup.
    • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture to remove dirt and debris.
    • Make beds and change sheets in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain hygiene standards.
    • Clean and disinfect elevators to prevent the spread of germs.
    • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and organized environment.
    • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed.
    • Wash windows, walls and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
    • Clean changing rooms and showers to ensure a clean and hygienic space.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
    • This role is physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift, bend and stand for long periods.
    • Attention to detail is essential in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
    • Combination of sitting, standing and walking is required throughout the day.
