Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at JN JANITORIAL SERVICES INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to a high standard.
  • Dusting and Vacuuming: Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Bed Making and Linen Management: Make beds and change sheets, and ensure that linen closets are stocked.
  • Disinfection and Sanitation: Disinfect operating rooms and other areas, and clean and disinfect elevators.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and provide basic information on facilities.
  • Waste Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Personal Hygiene Assistance: Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Laundry and Mending: Launder clothing and household linens, and mend clothing and linens as needed.
  • Light Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and shop for food and household supplies.
  • Window Cleaning: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Changing Room and Shower Cleaning: Clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
  • Financial Benefits: Bonus and night shift premium.
  • Other Benefits: Parking available, permanent employment, and 35-40 hours of work per week.
