Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with experience in geriatrics, mental health, and palliative care. You will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the provincial or territorial authorities
  • Experience in geriatrics, mental health, and palliative care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
