Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will possess a strong background in nursing, with a focus on geriatrics, mental health, and palliative care. You will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and providing education and support to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments
  • Collaborate with healthcare practitioners to coordinate patient care
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the provincial or territorial nursing regulatory authority
  • Experience in geriatrics, mental health, and palliative care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
