Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Financial Officer to join our team at Stonewood Group Inc.

Job Summary:

The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for overseeing all financial matters of the company, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, with experience in managing a finance department and directing all activities involved in the financial stewardship of a publicly traded company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial guidance and counsel to the CEO and operating team on all matters relating to the finance function.
  • Oversee and manage the accounting, tax, insurance, budget, credit, treasury, and capital structure functions.
  • Ensure compliance with securities statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Develop and implement financial planning and budgeting processes to ensure the company's financial goals are met.
  • Manage the relationship with the audit firm for annual audit/income tax activities and all related matters.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10-15 years of senior financial management experience, with some prior experience in a senior finance role with a publicly traded company.
  • Experience managing a finance department and directing all activities involved in the financial stewardship of a publicly traded company.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic, and early-stage technology companies.
  • Experience with acquisitions and their integration, strategic alliances, and positioning in a hyper-growth environment.
