Purolator is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing assigned on-/off-road and heavy duty equipment to ensure proper function and vehicle safety and meet quality and performance goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair on- / off-road and heavy duty vehicles and equipment to meet preventative maintenance schedules, ensure proper function, and meet vehicle safety and quality goals
- Assist with entering data in the mechanic's maintenance and repair database (e.g., Web Fleet Assistant (WFA))
- Communicates concerns or escalates unusually complex or persistent problems to the Foreman or other manager
- Responds to service calls for equipment breakdowns when no supervisor is available to assist in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues arising from the Control Room, Dispatch, or Drivers
Requirements
- Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics license (310J) or (310T)
- Valid "AZ/Class 1" class driver's license with a clear driver's abstract that meets Purolator's insurance requirements.
- 3 year of experience as a Diesel Mechanic is required.
Working Conditions
The schedule for this role is Monday-Friday 5:30pm-02:00am (40hours per week) in a warehouse environment.
