About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charitable Organization Director to lead our team at Operation Mobilisation Canada. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and implementation of our organizational policies and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership
    • Develop and implement organizational policies and programs to achieve our mission and goals.
    • Allocate resources to support the implementation of our strategic plan.
    • Collaborate with senior staff to establish departmental objectives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Operational Management
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective management of personnel.
    • Develop and manage budgets to ensure financial sustainability and growth.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, partners, and community leaders.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and manage a team of senior staff, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the organization.
    • Ensure effective communication and coordination across departments and teams.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Post-secondary degree in a relevant field, such as business, non-profit management, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role within a charitable organization or non-profit sector.
    • Proven track record of strategic leadership, operational management, and team leadership.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and partnership.
