Job Summary

Tiercon Corp. is seeking a skilled Automotive Paint Specialist to join our team at our Stoney Creek facility. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating robots to established quality specifications and participating in our Quality System and Environmental Management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and document pre- and post-production tasks
  • Monitor robotic paint application of automotive parts
  • Inspect parts before and after painting for quality of the paint application
  • Set up Robots/Spray Applicators at the start of shift and clean / teardown at the end of shift
  • Communicate observations on irregularities to the Process engineering team

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or Equivalent. Applicable Post-Secondary Education Preferred.
  • GHS, Safe Booth Entry, Hazardous Energy Control, Bounding and grounding
  • Demonstrated Strong Communication Skills
  • Demonstrated Mechanical aptitude
  • Basic to Intermediate computer skills
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in manufacturing environment
  • Experience to paint processing an asset
