Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond to life-threatening situations
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a recognized College or School of Nursing
  • Registered in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
  • 3-5 years of ICU nursing experience
  • ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
  • Advanced arrhythmias and 12 lead ECG interpretation
  • Experience with monitors, pumps, ECG machines, phlebotomy, and invasive pressure monitoring ventilators
