The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 depending on experience.

Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our culinary team and oversee the preparation of delicious meals for our clients. As an Executive Culinary Leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning menus that meet quality standards and cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements;
  • Supervising and training cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service delivery;
  • Preparing complete meals and specialty foods for events and banquets;
  • Instructing cooks in food preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation techniques;
  • Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen;
  • Managing inventory and supplies to ensure smooth operations;
  • Providing excellent customer service by addressing their needs and concerns in a timely manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed as an Executive Culinary Leader at Val and Patsy's Island Food, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role or as a head chef in a reputable restaurant;
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train team members effectively;
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Knowledge of Caribbean and Latin American cuisine, including recipes, ingredients, and cooking techniques;
  • Certification in food safety and sanitation would be an asset.
