Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Financial Services and CFO to join our team at Business Integration. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the Corporation's accounting and financial planning functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Formulate and implement financial administration and accounting policies, procedures, and systems to ensure the Corporation's financial health and stability.
  • Financial Reporting: Direct the preparation of financial statements and reports to Management and the Board of Directors, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Risk Management: Conduct cash flow forecasting, manage transaction risk, and prepare performance evaluations to identify, measure, monitor, and report financial risk exposures.
  • Tax Planning and Compliance: Review the Corporation's tax position and make recommendations to the CFO & Head, Business Integration on corporate income tax and HST matters.
  • Performance Management: Direct the collection of information from departments within CDIC and prepare comprehensive Performance Assessment Reports for management and the Board of Directors.
  • Accounting Policy and Procedure Development: Contribute to the development and revision of corporate accounting policies and procedures to ensure accounting systems and data integrity.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of a University Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 7+ years managing a team of professionals in a variety of disciplines.
  • Language Requirements: BBB (Bilingualism in French & English).
