We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Compliance Counsel to join our Global Compliance team at SimCorp. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing our compliance framework, ensuring that our organization remains compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in risk assessments to identify compliance risks across various business functions and regulatory areas.
- Develop and implement internal training programs on relevant compliance topics, including e-learning and face-to-face training.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to shape our compliance framework to meet business needs.
- Maintain policies on relevant topics, ensuring consistent application across the organization, and setting up controls and mapping procedures.
- Participate in activities to regularly monitor compliance activities and assess their effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate records of compliance activities.
- Hold a degree in law, commercial law, or a compliance-relevant education.
- Have 3+ years of experience with relevant compliance topics, such as market abuse, sanctions, ABC, COI, etc.
- possess good analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Have excellent English communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Have a good understanding of compliance issues and risks, and can balance the need for sound business advice with the need for maintaining a high standard of advice.
- Possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
