Job Description

A leading role in the company PeopleToGo, we are seeking an experienced Production Manager Lead to oversee production activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of products.


Duties and Responsibilities
  • Create and update purchase orders to manage inventory levels.
  • Maintain status of purchase orders, including planned ship dates, in-transit, and delivered.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies between Finance and Supplier.
  • Order spare parts through Groupe to support small orders and occasionally for TCC.
  • Determine shipping methods and update scheduled ship dates as necessary.
  • Communicate shipping schedule changes to sales teams.

Inventory Management
  • Return non-conforming material to supplier.
  • Update In Transit report.
  • Maintain records of product scrapped and issue ticket numbers.
  • Coordinate rework/update of material based on approved COs and TDNs.
  • Create work orders.
  • Assist Warehouse in configuring product correctly prior to shipment if updates are required.

Planning Activities
  • Update NAR forecast.
  • Prepare and present reports at S&OP meetings to senior management.
  • Review and Approve TDNs.
  • Determine classification of product with Freight Forwarder.
  • Request extension of part numbers in SAP.
  • Advise Finance on new pricing and changes.
  • Review revenue plan (weekly).
  • Review sales Boms and submit for approval.
  • Review in-quarter backlog (weekly).
  • Provide schedule dates for SOs.

Miscellaneous Activities
  • Monitor daily delivery status on all orders.
  • Contact Freight Forwarder to receive ETA for product, export, expedite, and arrange pick-up.
  • Approve freight invoices.
  • Ensure shipment of product on time.
  • Work with suppliers and Groupe on quality issues.
  • Contact component suppliers to expedite parts.
  • Work with Engineering to approve new suppliers.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in production management, with a strong background in inventory control, purchasing, and logistics. A degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred. Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience. Located in [City], USA.
