Athletics & Wellness Centre Assistant Opportunity

Branksome Hall, a leading independent International Baccalaureate (IB) World School for girls, is seeking a highly motivated and organized Athletics & Wellness Centre Assistant to join our team.

The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service, handle inquiries, and supervise athletic, recreation, and special event set-ups in the building. They will also be responsible for opening and securing the Athletics & Wellness Centre and other facility spaces, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and ensuring that programs run effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality customer service and respond to inquiries from internal and external community members
  • Supervise athletic, recreation, and special event set-ups in the building
  • Open and secure the Athletics & Wellness Centre and other facility spaces
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Ensure that programs run effectively

Requirements:

  • Experience in athletics, recreation, fitness, and event management
  • Supervisory experience in a related field
  • CPR and First-Aid training
  • Familiarity with Occupational Health and Safety regulations
  • Effective supervisory, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google suite of products

Working Conditions:

The position requires flexibility in both hours and days of work. Hours of work will vary between 4:00 p.m.- 10:30 p.m. on Monday – Friday and 7:00 a.m. - 10:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
