Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $120,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications, plus benefits that promote work-life balance and career growth.

Job Description

The Energy Systems Specialist is responsible for operating and maintaining the facility's mechanical and electrical systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and building automation systems (BAS). This role involves performing regular inspections, preventative and corrective maintenance, and responding to routine and on-demand service requests.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of the facility's mechanical and electrical systems to identify deficiencies and suggest enhancements.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal functioning of the systems.
  • Respond promptly to service requests and perform repairs as needed.
  • Monitor system performance and make adjustments as required to maintain efficiency and uptime.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to implement and maintain the facility's preventative maintenance program.
Requirements
  • High school diploma plus trades training and/or certification or licensing in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in energy systems maintenance, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and BAS.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues and external partners.
