About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Rainbow Gas Shell. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the management team in the day-to-day operations of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management
    • Manage and supervise a team of 3-4 staff members
    • Assign duties and tasks to ensure efficient workflow
  • Market Research and Analysis
    • Conduct market research to determine consumer demand and trends
    • Analyze data to inform business decisions
  • Merchandise and Services
    • Determine the types of merchandise and services to be sold
    • Implement pricing and credit policies
  • Marketing Strategies
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our business
  • Operations Management
    • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations
  • Recruitment and Supervision
    • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
    • Stand for extended periods and perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Personal Suitability
    • Adapt to changing situations and priorities
    • Work efficiently and effectively in a team environment
    • Communicate effectively with staff, customers, and stakeholders

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
