Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Big Route Transport Ltd. is seeking a reliable and skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a safe and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and materials, adhering to schedules and deadlines.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient operation, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Load and unload goods and materials, using appropriate equipment and techniques.
  • Communicate with dispatch and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Long Haul Truck Driver.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as needed.
