Raven Carrier Inc is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes. Your primary duties will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading Goods: Safely load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring that all cargo is properly secured and accounted for.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain your vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, including checking tires, lights, brakes, and other essential systems.
  • Communication: Maintain regular communication with central dispatch and other team members to ensure smooth operations and address any issues that may arise.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.

Requirements

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Certifications: Air Brakes Endorsement, Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring attention to detail, handling heavy loads, and working in a fast-paced environment.
