Job Title: Concrete Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Yes Concrete Cutting and Coring Inc.

Job Summary:

The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for ensuring high-quality finishes on concrete surfaces. This includes checking formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials, directing the placement of concrete, and operating power vibrators to compact concrete.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade.
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure a smooth finish.
  • Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification.
  • Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures.
  • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces.
  • Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces.
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
Work Environment:

The Concrete Finisher will work in a variety of locations, including outdoors, and will be exposed to dusty, noisy, and wet/damp conditions.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in concrete finishing or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Dependability and ability to meet deadlines.
