Job Title: Concrete Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Yes Concrete Cutting and Coring Inc. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete projects.

Job Summary:
  • Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade.
  • Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it is properly set.
  • Level the top surface of concrete according to grade and depth specification.
  • Impart the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures as required.
  • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and ensure they are waterproof and durable.
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
Work Environment:

As a Concrete Finisher, you will work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. You will be required to work outdoors and in dusty conditions, and you must be able to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in concrete finishing.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and adapt to changing weather conditions.
