Role Description

This Railways Equipment Repair Expert position involves performing complex repairs and maintenance on railway equipment, including locomotives and freight cars. The estimated salary for this role is $100,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex repairs and maintenance on railway equipment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective equipment operation.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime.

Required Qualifications

A High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) and relevant work experience and/or certification as a diesel mechanic are essential requirements for this role. A valid driver's license, basic technical knowledge of diesel mechanics, and good hand-eye coordination are also important skills for success in this position.
